Six checks before you buy a mesh tank.

Check the seller's specific model and color/size. A chart's “chest” figure might refer to your body or to the tank laid flat. Check each box only when the actual listing answers it.

1. What does “chest” measure?Body circumference · flat pit-to-pit · garment half-chest · garment full circumference · unknown 2. Are units and method explicit?Write inches/cm and follow the maker's own measuring landmark. Flat width × 2 approximates garment circumference only. 3. Can I compare something that fits?For a flat-width chart, measure a well-fitting tank laid flat. Don't equate its number with your body circumference. 4. What is the coverage cut?Armhole depth / side exposure · body length / hem · lining / layers. Mark unknown if not specified. 5. Does the actual variant ship to me?Exact color, size, destination, stock-at-checkout, shipping and customs; a product-page badge isn't a reservation. 6. Can I return it if wrong?Check deadlines, condition/hygiene, sale vs clearance, cash vs store credit, international portal and return freight.

Known arithmetic, not fit advice: 51 cm measured flat is about 102 cm of finished garment circumference (≈40.2″). The number does not say what body chest will fit.

STOP / ask the seller: If the measurement type, relevant coverage detail or return eligibility is unknown and a wrong choice matters, clarify before paying. No universal ease or opacity assumption fills that gap.
