Jockstrap sizing · three exact models

A better way to compare sizes

One waist.
Three jocks.
Two letters.

At a measured 32-inch waist, the published charts indicate Ranger M, Impact L, and BIKE Original #10 M. Even two models from the same brand disagree. Start with the exact product chart—not the letter on another pair.

Based on merchant-listed waist ranges checked October 31, 2026. A chart match is not a wear test, promise of comfort, or guarantee of personal fit.

01 / An actual decision

Compare a measurement, not a size letter.

Enter your waist measurement in inches to see which size each of these three particular product charts lists. Use the merchant's specified measurement location; the brands do not all define that location equally.

These are literal chart lookups. “Not listed” means the tested measurement is outside that model's published ranges, not that the garment cannot fit you.

02 / The actual size ranges

Source-specific waist bands (inches); no automatic conversion between brands, waist landmarks, jeans size, pouch volume or thigh measurements. Scroll the chart sideways on narrow screens.

03 / Where is your “waist”?

A tape number is only useful when you know where you measured.

BIKE specifies the natural waistline, with the tape not pulled tight. The cited Ranger and Impact pages label their charts “waist in” without a clearly stated body landmark. Other fetishwear makers sometimes instruct you to measure lower, at the waistband or over the hipbones.

Do not substitute a jeans tag, hip circumference or low-waist number for a natural-waist requirement. If the landmark is unclear on the exact product page, ask the merchant before treating a borderline size as settled.

04 / Before you spend

Chart match first. Comfort questions second.

  1. Identify the exact model and current size chart. A Ranger M is not interchangeable with an Impact M, even though both are Gruff Pup jocks.
  2. Measure the body landmark the seller means. Stand relaxed with a flexible tape; avoid pulling it tight. If “waist” is undefined, clarify it.
  3. Check the construction—but don't invent fit. Ranger lists a jersey pouch and 1-, 2- or 3-inch waistband options; Impact advertises a mesh pouch with an inner Bulge Boost sling and an athletic fit; BIKE Original #10 lists a 3-inch band and structured pouch. These are merchant descriptions, not head-to-head wear tests or measured pouch dimensions.
  4. Think about separate strap and pouch comfort. A waist-chart recommendation cannot predict elastic tension, leg-strap contact, coverage, compression or your preference. Compare merchant details and ask about a particular concern before buying.
  5. Confirm return restrictions before opening packaging. Intimate-apparel return eligibility can differ from a general store policy; don't buy assuming you can wear it and return it.
